Here we are at Part 2 of the Taste of Home Magazine Review. Let’s pick up where we left off:

Page 36: Ad for Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners. OK folks, this has to be one of the most useless products on the market. Slow cookers interiors are either ceramic or porcelain and as such are very easy to clean. If you do have any food that sticks to it all you need to do is soak the crockpot with hot, sudsy water for a half an hour and use a stiff brush to clean it out. Please do not waste your money on this product.
Page 37: Slow cooker tips. Did you know removing the lid of your cooker increases cooking time 20-30 minutes each time you do it? I didn’t. Read the warning I found about cooking kidney beans in a slow cooker here.
